Previously, I had meticulously crafted a slew of batch file scripts, SQL Server statements, stored procedures and scheduled tasks to get this terrible project to work. And it worked. 33 databases later, it's still working, and bloody huge.
Now, I need to condense it out into historical data (1000+ records from original DB goes to a single record in tblHistory) ... and the machine is so full of garbage that I can't. The function fails out when the machine runs out of disk space. I've deleted over 10GB of garbage and moved 10 more to the other drive ... To no avail.
Take this as a lesson, kids: Delete your trash when you're done with it.
